Hi there and welcome to our Stamping Sunday Blog Hop! Since next month we are getting a new Annual Catalog, our team is showcasing projects created with some of the new products from the catalog…how fun is that!!! I always love to create with new goodies as they excite me…LOL. I chose to work with a gorgeous Suite that I think everyone will love called Forever Greenery. Everything is gorgeous about this whole suite!!! And as usual I have three types of cards for you. One for the beginner, one for the casual and one for the advanced crafter. Here is what they look like together.
Let me start out with the card with the beginner in mind. This set is so beautiful that all you need is three ink colors and Whisper White cardstock to create this beauty and what I love about this is that you can play with color combos to create so many beautiful elegant cards. To recreate this card just stamp the leaves with three different colors, which I used Granny Apple Green, Garden Gree and Bermuda Bay on the edges of the Whisper White card base and stamp the sentiment in the middle using Bermuda Bay ink. See? It’s so easy!!!
My next card is with the casual card maker in mind and this time I mixed some coordinating Forever Greenery DSP and Forever Gold Specialty DSP in as a step up. To create this card, cut a 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 Forever Greenery DSP in the pattern of your choice, adhere to card base using Snail Adhesive. Cut a 3-1/4 x 4-1/2 Whisper White card stock, stamp a few of the leaves using Bermuda Bay and Granny Apple green ink as shown on card and adhere to card front using Snail Adhesive. Cut a 2-1/2 x 3/4 Whisper White card stock, stamp the sentiment on it using Bermuda Bay ink and using Stampin’ Dimensionals, adhere strip to the card as shown. Finally adhere a gold leaf under the sentiment strip using Liquid Glue.
My last card is for the avid card maker with a few tricks up their sleeve. I just love this card so much!
To create this card start with a Whisper White card base. Next, cut a 3-1/4 x 5-1/2 Whisper White card stock and run it through the leafy Greenery Embossing folder. Cut a 1 x 5-1/2 Forever Greenery DSP in the pattern of your choice, adhere to the embossed panel. Using a sponge dauber, add some Coastal Cabana ink to the middle section of the embossed panel, so the sentiment label will pop. Wrap the gold thread around the embossed panel vertically three times and tie it in a bow on the top. Adhere the panel on the card base.
Stamp two leaves using Granny Apple Green and one using Bermuda Bay and die cut them. Also, die cut the large leaf die using Vellum cardstock. Stamp the sentiment using Pretty Peacock on a piece of Whisper White cardstock and die cut it using one of the labels from the Tasteful Labels Dies. Arrange the leafs and adhere them on top of the card front as shown. Adhere the gold leaf arrangement under the sentiment label and adhere them together on the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Well, hope you enjoyed these cards! Make sure to check out the rest of the Stamping Sunday participants creations. They are super talented ladies, so I know you will love hopping on their blogs. You can find the links below my signature, so just scroll down a bit further!
