Hi there, welcome back! Today I am hopping along with the Happy Inkin’ team, and we have a super fun sketch challenge! When I saw this sketch I thought it would be perfect to ink up my Thoughtful Blooms stamps and use the coordinating punch, which you an earn with a qualifying purchase still and this is what I came up with.
To create this card, start with a Pool Party cardbase. Next, cut a 3-3/4 x 5 watercolor paper. Using Pool Party ink and Aqua Painter, watercolor the panel partially and dry it. Stamp the leafy branches on it a few times using Old Olive ink. Stamp the flowers on using Petal Pink and the middle parts using Melon Mambo. Also stamp the little berries using Melon Mambo. Cut a 3-3/4 x 5 panel using Petal Pink cardstock and adhere it under the watercolor panel in an angle and onto the card base using Snail adhesive.
Next, stamp the big flower onto Petal Pink cardstock using Petal Pink ink and the middle again using Melon Mambo ink and punch them out using the coordinating Small Bloom Punch.
Punch out a 2″ circle using Whisper White cardstock and stamp the sentiment on it using Flirty Flamingo. Punch a Starburst out using Pool Party cardstock and adhere it under the sentiment label using Snail adhesive and adhere them onto the card using Stampin Dimensionals. Adhere the three punched flowers around the label as shown on picture and finally add three sequins on the sentiment label.
Here is another shot of the card from a different angle. Don’t you just love this little stamp set? It sure has a big affect!! And I love that you can get it for free with a $60 purchase!
