Hi there and welcome to our Stamping Sunday Blog Hop! This month our team is focusing on what is our favourite Sale-a-brations item or items. Well, we are getting close to March, and there will be new items added into the Sale-a-bration FREEbies, and I wanted to give you a little sneak peek of what’s to come. I am showcasing two new products you will be able to earn with a $60 purchase. One of them is the beautiful Flowering Foils Specialty Designer Series Papers and the other one is a new stamp set called Tags in Bloom.
As usual I have three types of cards for you. One for the beginner, one for the casual and one for the advanced crafter.
Let me start out with the card with the beginner in mind. I try to create these cards very simply and most of the time they are quick and simple and this is for sure a quick and simple card.
To create this card here are the steps:
Cardbase is Pool Party, cut and fold to 4-1/4 x 5-1/2. Cut a 3-3/4 x 5 Flowering Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper, adhere on card front. Cut a 3-3/4 x 1-1/2 Whisper White cardstock panel, stamp the Congrats sentiment from the Seriously the Best Stamp set on it using Pool Party ink. Stamp a few of the floral clusters around the sentiment using Pool Party ink. Adhere on top of the card front using Snail adhesive as shown.
My next card is for the casual stamper and it’s a little bit of a step up and here is what I came up with.
This one is using the Flowering Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper again and added the Tags in Bloom stamp set to it.
To create this card here are the steps:
Cardbase is Pool Party, cut and fold to 4-1/4 x 5-1/2. Cut a 3-3/4 x 5 Flowering Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper and this time color in some of the flowers using Light Lovely Lipstick Stampin’ Blends and adhere on card base. Next, die cut the largest Scalloped Rectangle die from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies using Whisper White cardstock. Using the Stamparatus stamp the floral label image on the panel using Soft Suede ink, turn the label 180 degrees, line it up, so the label will be exact and stamp again, this way you will get a double floral images. Color in the flowers using Light Flirty Flamingo, Light Daffodil Delight and Light Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends. Stamp the sentiment on a scrap piece of Pool Party cardstock using Soft Suede ink, punch it out using the coordinating Label Me Lovely Punch and adhere it using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Finally adhere the art panel on the card front using Snail Adhesive.
My final card is for the advanced crafter and I have to admit, I have a lot of fussy cutting and layers going on here and I just love how this card turned out.
This last card is using yet another brand new soon to be released Sale-a-bration item, which is the So Very Vellum Specialty Designer Series Paper, on top of using the Flowering Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper.
To create this card here are the steps:
Cardbase is Whisper White cut and fold to 4-1/4 x 5-1/2. Cut a 3-3/4 x 5 Soft Sea Foam So Very Vellum Specialty Designer Series Paper and using Tear & Tape, adhere to card base. Fussy cut one double flower and one single flower image from the gorgeous Flowering Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper. Using Stampin Dimensionals, adhere the double flower on the card front. Color in the single flower image using Combo Petal Pink Stampin Blends and the Combo Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends. Adhere the colored flower on top of the double flower image using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Stamp the sentiment onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock from the Forever Blossoms stamp set using Flirty Flamingo ink and die cut it using the second smallest scalloped rectangle die from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies and adhere on top of flowers using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Next, create a double bow using the Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon and Linen Thread and using a Glue dot, adhere it next to sentiment label.
Here is close up look of the card. Wouldn’t this make a gorgeous wedding card?
