Happy Birthday to You Card

 

Hi there, welcome back!  Today I am hopping along with the Happy Inkin’ team, and we have a beautiful color combo.  When I looked at this colors I knew right away that I wanted to use the Happy Birthday To You Sale-a-bration stamp set and the coordinating Birthday dies and this lovely creation is what I came up with.

To create this card I used Mint Macaron as my card base, then I cut a 3-1/2 x 5″ Whisper White cardstock.  Stamped the word Celebrate using Petal pink all over randomly.  I also stamped the ‘splotchy” stamp all over using Mint Macaron as well.  Next, I white embossed the birthday cake image onto watercolor paper and watercolored it in using Lovely Lipstick, Mint Macaron and for the leaves I did add a little bit of Pear Pizzazz.  Once it dried, I die cut it.  Next I die cut three leaves using Mint Macaron cardstock, and three twigs using Vellum cardstock and adhered them under the cake using Snail adhesive and finally adhered them all using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Finally, I stamped the Birthday sentiment onto piece of Mint Macaron cardstock using Gray Granite ink, fussy cut it out and adhered it on top of the cake using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
