Hi there and welcome to our Stamping Sunday Blog Hop! This month our team is focusing on the Tags, Tags, Tags bundle. Whats cool about this bundle that it covers 3 holidays, Halloween, Christmas and Valentines day. And Stampin up made it so easy to stamp and die cut these tags. You can stamp and die cut 3 tags at a time, so you don’t have to fuss around. Anyway, as usual we have a card for the beginner, casual and avid crafter. Here are the cards for each style crafter using the Halloween tags. In hindsight, I wish I had made some of the other holiday ones, too, but Halloween was stuck in my head…LOL
Let me start with my Beginner Style card first. Its a very easy card any beginner can do, or if you are in a hurry, you can create this fast.
Cardbase is Basic Black, 5-1/2 x 8-1/2, score and fold at 4-1/4. Cut a 5 x 3-3/4 Crushed Curry cardstock, adhere in the middle of the card base. Cut a 1-1/2 x 3-3/4 Spider Web paper from the Monster Bash Designer Series Paper and adhere on the side of the card front. Stamp the Halloween tag image onto a piece of Crushed Curry cardstock and die cut it. Tie a Whisper White twine in the hole in a bow and using Stampin Dimensionals adhere on top of the Spider web paper.
Next card is for the Casual Stamper and this one is using my new favorite Stylish Scroll Embossing folder along with Golden Glitz Delicata ink.
Cardbase is Basic Black, 5-1/2 x 8-1/2, score and fold at 4-1/4. Cut a 5 x 3-3/4 Basic Black cardstock and run it through the Stylish Scroll Embossing folder and ink up the raised parts using a sponge dauber with the Golden Glitz Delicata ink pad to create that gorgeous look. Now you know why it’s my new favorite. Cut a 5-1/8 x 3-7/8 Crushed Curry cardstock panel and using Tear & Tape adhere under the embossed panel and on top of the card front. Next, cut a 1-1/2 x 3-3/4 Crushed Curry patterned paper and adhere on the card front. Using Mango Melody Pigment Sprinkle, watercolor a 3 x 3 watercolor paper. Once it dried, punch it out with a 2″ circle punch. Also punch out a starburst using Basic Black cardstock and adhere it under the watercolored circle. Adhere them to the card front using Stampin Dimensionals. Next, stamp the Boo tag onto Whisper White cardstock, outline the tag using Dark Highland Heather Stampin Blends and the inside of the pumpkins with Dark Pumpkin Pie Stampin Blends. Cut two 8″ Linen Threads and tie it in a bow through the hole and adhere tag using Snail to the circle.
My last card is for the Advanced Stamper. You might know how much I love Pigment Sprinkles, so this card is highlighting that along with the Stylish Scroll Embossing folder once again. I really love how this card turned out and hope you do, too. It’s really not that difficult.
Cardbase is Basic Black, 5-1/2 x 8-1/2, score and fold at 4-1/4. Cut a 5 x 3-3/4 Watercolor paper and create the background using Mango Melody and Gorgeous Grape Pigment Sprinkles with a Stampin Spritzer. Once it dried run it through the Stylish Scroll Embossing folder and ink up the raised parts using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. I just touched my inkpad direct to the raised parts, but you can use a sponge dauber. Cut a 5-1/8 x 3-7/8 Highland Heather cardstock panel and adhere under the watercolored panel in an angle using Tear & Tape and adhere both to the card base.
Cut a 1-1/2 x 3-3/4 Spider Web paper from the Monster Bash Designer Series Paper and adhere on the side of the card front. Stamp two of the tags onto Whisper White Cardstock and die cut them out. Punch a 2″ circle using Crushed Curry cardstock and a Starburst using Basic Black cardstock and adhere them to each other. Cut a 7″ Black Glittered Organdy ribbon, fold in half and adhere under the labels using Snail adhesive first and using Stampin Dimensionals adhere to card. Cut the “It’s All about the Candy tag in half and adhere it under the bottom and top part of the circle. Tie a bow using Whisper White Twine in the hole of the Halloween tag and adhere on top of the circle using Snail adhesive.
