Hi there and welcome to our Stamping Sunday Blog Hop! Today our team is focusing on my favorite current item in the catalog, which is the Pigment Sprinkles or Inked Backgrounds. I can’t wait to see what my team mates created. I chose to work with the Modern Heart stamp set as I feel it’s meant to use with Pigment Sprinkles. Here are the cards I created for today.
To say the least, I am so super excited about how these cards turned out!!! But let’s start with my Beginner Stamper Style card.
As you will see in my video, this card is super easy to create. Cardbase is Coastal Cabana, 4-1/4 x 11, score at 5-1/2. Cut a 3-3/4 x 5 watercolor paper, spritz it with water and sprinkle with Melon Mambo Pigment Sprinkle, move it around with Aqua Painter and soak it up with paper towel to get to the right color and dry with heat tool. Stamp the heart using Tuxedo Black Memento ink using Stamparatus. Cut a 3 x 7/8 Basic Black strip, white emboss sentiment on it and adhere on top of heart using Stampin Dimensionals. Finally adhere the watercolor art panel to cardbase using Tear & Tape
Next up is my Casual Stamper Style card.
This is just a little step up from the previous card by adding additional layers and using the emboss resist technique.
Cardbase is Flirty Flamingo 4-1/4 x 11, score at 5-1/2. Cut a 3-3/4 x 5 watercolor paper, white emboss the heart in the middle, spritz it with water and sprinkle with Melon Mambo Pigment Sprinkle, move it around with Aqua Painter and soak it up with paper towel to get to the right color and dry with heat tool. Next, die cut the smallest Stiched Nested Label using Gold Foil paper and white emboss the sentiment on it. Die cut the one size larger Stiched Nested Label using vellum, adhere the gold foil sentiment on it using Tear & Tape.
Cut a 4 x 2 watercolor paper, spritz it with water and sprinkle with Granny Apple Green Pigment Sprinkle, move it around with Aqua Painter and soak it up with paper towel to get to the right color and dry with heat tool. Punch two leaves out of it and adhere under the sentiment label using liquid glue and adhere all of it on the art panel using Stampin Dimensionals. Finally adhere are panel to a 4 x 5-1/4 Gold Foil mat and to the card base.
Finally my last card with the Advanced Stamper in mind.
Cardbase is Coastal Cabana, 4-1/4 x 11, score at 5-1/2. Cut a 3-3/4 x 5 watercolor paper, spritz it with water and sprinkle with Granny Apple Green Pigment Sprinkle, move it around with Aqua Painter and soak it up with paper towel to get to the right color and dry with heat tool.
Mix a little bit of Shimmery White Emboss Paste in a little cup with liquidized Bermuda Bay Pigment Sprinkle. Create a stencil using Whisper White cardstock by die cutting three rows of dies from the Tasteful Backgrounds Dies (please see video for more). Place stencil on watercolored panel and using a palette knife spread the emboss paste. Carefully lift stencil and let it dry.
On a scrap watercolor paper white emboss the heart and add Melon Mambo Sprinkle on it. Dry it and cut it out. Die cut a 4 x 2 Stitched Nested Label using Vellum and adhere heart on it using Tear and Tape and adhere to art panel.
To create a Bermuda Bay color twine, spritz water on a small teflon sheet and sprinkle with Bermuda Bay Pigment Sprinkle and soak the twine it and dry it. Tie a little bow and attach on heart using glue dot.
White emboss the sentiment on a 2-1/2 x 7/8 Coastal Cabana strip and adhere on top of heart using Stampin Dimensional. Adhere watercolor panel using Tear & Tape to 4 x 5-1/4 Vellum mat and on top of the cardbase.
