Hi there and welcome to our Stamping Sunday Blog Hop! I am so excited to participate in this hop with so many amazing stampers!!! I am just so grateful for this opportunity to hop along with such talent!! Today we are focusing on Gingham Gala and each of us have created a card 3 ways. One for each crafter in mind, so this post is for all of you beginners, casual stampers and even for avid stampers. My cards are also focusing on the beautiful Beaty Abounds stamp set.
So let me start you out with my first card. This layout is what I am using for all of the cards, but each card is a little bit stepped up! So for my first card is for the beginner stamper in mind.
To create this card I took the following steps to create.
- I started out with the card base, which is Lemon Lime Twist card stock 4-1/4 x 8-1/2 score and fold at 5-1/2. Next I cut a 3-3/4 x 5 Whisper White panel and stamped the flourish image on the right side multiple times using Lemon Lime Twist ink.
- and adhered it to the left side of the panel.
- Tied a knot around the panel using Lemon Lime Twist Ombre ribbon.
- Stamped the sentiment onto Whisper White card stock using Grapefruit Grove card stock and using the 2″ circle punch I punched it out. Next I punched a Starburst out of Lemon Lime Twist card stock and adhered them together and than onto the stamped panel.
- Finally using Snail adhered the panel to the card front.
My next card is for the casual stamper in mind, who might have more experience and more products in hand. Here is what I came up with.
This card has very similar steps, but I added a few more things to it to make it more interesting. Here is how I created it:
- I started out with the card base, which is Lemon Lime Twist card stock 4-1/4 x 8-1/2 score and fold at 5-1/2. Next I cut a 3-3/4 x 5 Whisper White panel and stamped the flourish image on the right side multiple times using Lemon Lime Twist ink.
- I also cut a 2-1/2 x 5 Gingham Gala Lemon Lime Twist patterned paper and a 1 x 5 strip of Grapefruit Grove card stock and adhered that to the right side of the panel and adhered it on top of the stamped panel.
- Tied a pretty bow around the panel using Lemon Lime Twist Ombre ribbon.
- Cut a 4 x 5-1/4 Whisper White card stock panel and adhered it to the stamped panel and adhered them to the card front.
- Stamped the splash image onto Whisper White card stock using Lemon Lime Twist ink and the sentiment on top of it using Grapefruit Grove ink and punched it out using the 2″ circle punch. Next I punched a Starburst out of Lemon Lime Twist card stock and adhered them together.
- Die cut the label from the Stitched Labels Framelits Dies using Whisper White card stock and adhere the sentiment circle on top of it and using Stampin’ Dimensionals adhere it to the card front.
My last card is for the avid stamper in mind, so I got more creative…LOL Here is what I came up with.
What do you think??? I love the way it turned out! Gingham Gala papers really make these cards. Anyway, here is how I created this one.
- I also cut a 2-1/2 x 5 Gingham Gala Lemon Lime Twist patterned paper and a 1 x 5 strip of Gold Glimmer paper
- adhered that to the right side of the panel and adhered it on top of the stamped panel.
- Tied a pretty bow around the panel using Lemon Lime Twist Ombre ribbon.
- Cut a 4 x 5-1/4 Grapefruit Grove card stock panel and in an angle I adhered it to the stamped panel and adhered them to the card front.
- Stamped the splash image onto Grapefruit Grove card stock using Grapefruit Grove ink and white embossed the sentiment on top of it and punched it out using the 2″ circle punch. Next I punched a Starburst out of Lemon Lime Twist card stock and adhered them together.
- Cut a 3/4 x 3 double ended banner using Gold Glimmer paper and adhered it under the sentiment label
- Die cut the label from the Stitched Labels Framelits Dies using Whisper White card stock and adhere the sentiment circle on top of it and using Stampin’ Dimensionals adhere it to the card front.
- Stamped the small butterfly on Whisper White card stock using Lemon Lime Twist ink and fussy cut it and using a mini stampin’ dimensional adhered it onto my sentiment.
- White embossed one butterfly from the Butterfly Gala set onto watercolor paper and watercolored it using Coastal Cabana and Mango Melody ink. Punched it out and I also punched out a vellum small butterfly, adhered it on top of the watercolored butterfly and added an iridescent sequin on top of it and using a glue dot I adhered it in the middle of the bow and that is it.
