Happy Saturday! Do you have some fun weekend plans? I just got a nice big box of Stampin Up goodies, so I will be playing with them, that is for sure. Hope you find some crafting time, too! For today I wanted to share another card using the All That You Are stamp set, but a little more elaborate one, wanted to step it up a bit. This time I colored the image with Stampin Blends. So I have a colorful card and love the way it turned out!
What do you think?? For some reason I feel like this has sort of an old postcard look. Maybe because of the black and white designer series paper I used as a mat, or perhaps the combination of colors. Anyway, I love it. Once again I used some of the Sale-a-bration products you can get for FREE with $60 purchase. I used the Botanical Butterflies designer series paper and one of the gorgeous Organdy ribbons.
If you want to recreate this card here are the steps to do that.
To create this card I started out with the card base, which is Calypso Coral card stock 4-1/4 x 8-1/2 score and fold at 5-1/2. Next I cut a 3-3/4 x 5 Whisper White panel and using Sahara Sand ink I stamped the large floral image. I colored it in using Calypso Coral Combo, Mango Melody Combo, Old Olive Combo and Blackberry Bliss Combo. Once I finished my coloring I cut 4 x 5-1/14 size black and white diagonal striped paper from the Botanical Butterflies designer series paper and adhered it together as a mat and adhered it on the card base.
Next I white embossed the sentiment onto Basic Black card stock and cut it down to 1 1/4 x 3-1/4 and cut a banner into it. Using the Detailed Trio punch I punched a whole on the left side and tied an Organdy bow and adhered it to the card. Finally using the Butterfly Duet punch I punched out a butterfly from the Botanical Butterflies designer series paper and adhered it using Liquid Glue and your card is finished.
Here is another closer look of it.
If you would like to recreate this card here is the list of the products I used.
