Hello and welcome back! Stampin’ Up! has been encouraging us to create cards with simple stamping and I decided to challenge myself. So on Tuesdays I will be sharing cards using simple stamping. Trust me it will be a stretch for me as I am so not a simple stamper, but we all have to grow, so this is what I am doing this year. Hence the name Simple Stamping Tuesdays with Eva. Let me share with you my first card or really a card set I created with All That You Are stamp set and the gorgeous Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper.
So, what do you think??? I think they turned out to be quite pretty, simple or not. All you need is good products and some creativity! I used Balmy Blue card stock/ink, Coral Calypso card stock/ink and Granny Apple Green card stock/ink combos.
Here is the card I have instructions for below.
To create this card I started out with the card base, which is Granny Apple Green card stock 4-1/4 x 8-1/2 score and fold at 5-1/2. Next I cut a 4 x 5-1/4 Whisper White panel ad stamped my flower image onto it using Stamparatus with Granny Apple Green ink. Next I stamped the sentiment on using Tuxedo Black ink. Using the Detailed Trio punch I rounded my top right and lower left corners and adhered the stamped panel on my card base.
Next I cut out a butterfly just loosely from the Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper, added a small strip of post it paper to hold the butterfly and punch it with the Butterfly Duet punch and finally adhered it to the card using Liquid Glue.
Here is the video if you want to follow me while you are making it. If you haven’t yet, please subscribe to my Youtube Channel, as I keep adding more and more videos!
And here is the list of the products I used to create this card with.
Just a quick Sale-a-bration highlight. Here is a better picture of the Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Papers that are FREE with a $60 purchase. I am so in love with these papers, I might have to stock up and hoard them…LOL But seriously, so many possibilities!!! As you can see today I used one of them. I could just punch all those butterflies out…LOL
