Hello and a happy Monday to you!!! Hope you had a great weekend! I made a few cards this weekend with some of the brand new Occasions catalog as how could I not when they are sitting in my studio? So today I have a bright fun card to share with you using the All That You Are stamp set. Here is what I came up with.
I had so much fun creating this card. I just got the Granny Apple Green card stock and I just knew I wanted to create a card with that. And since I had a couple of the Sale-a-bration FREEbies, I wanted to use them, too. I just love the Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Papers and I wanted to use that and the gorgeous organdy ribbons This card is actually a pretty easy card to make, as there is no coloring involved, just stamping and pairing up colors to make it work and I think I achieved that. Anyway, here is how I created this card.
To create this card I started out with the card base, which is Granny Apple Green card stock 4-1/4 x 8-1/2 score and fold at 5-1/2. I stamped the large floral stamp all over randomly using Granny Apple Green Ink. Next I cut 1-1/2 x 5-1/2 panel from on of the sheets from the Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Papers, added the Daffodil Delight organdy ribbon and bow on the right side of it and adhered it to the left side of the card front.
Next I punched a Basic Black Starburst and adhered it to the card. I cut a 1 x 3 Calypso Coral strip and punched a banner on one end and adhered it on top of the starburst. Next I stamped the sentiment using Granny Apple Green and punched it out using Tailored Tag Punch and adhered it on top of the Calypso Coral strip. Finally I stamped a large and small flower on Daffodil Delight card stock using Daffodil Delight ink and a small flower on Highland Heather card stock using Highland Heather ink, die cut them using the Frosted Bouquet Framelits and tucked them in under the sentiment label and that is it.
Here is a closeup of the card. What do you think??
I am entering this card for the current challenge at Stamp, Ink, Paper challenge, where the theme is Thank you!
I just love how this card turned out so much! Here are the products I used to create this.
Hope you liked this card as much as I did. Do you have friends that think they can’t create cards because they feel they don’t have the creative part? Is there someone you would like to spend more time with and crafting, but they keep saying no because they think they can’t? Well Stampin’ Up has a new catalog just for them! They have some really awesome kits ready to go. Have you seen the New Customer catalog? Share it with your friends and soon they will not be beginners anymore. Anyway, just thought I would bring it up as it’s brand new.
