Hello and welcome back to this week’s Happy Stampers Blog Hop!
Today we have a sketch for you to try!
I love this sketch and here is what I came up with.
I bought the Beautiful You stamp set a while ago and because the sketch kind of wanted me to use the Ruffled embossing folder that prompted me to pull out this gorgeous stamp set. So here is how I created this card.
- The card base is Coastal Cabana card stock 4-1/4 x 8-1/2 score and fold at 5-1/2. Next I cut a 3-3/4 x 5 panel from Whisper White card stock and ran it through the Ruffled embossing folder and adhered it to my card base using tear tape.
- Next I die cut the circle using Stitched Shapes and watercolor paper. Stamped my image using Stazon and watercolored it using the inks I listed below in my product list.
- Next I die cut one of the banners using Gold Glimmer paper, cut it in half and adhered them to the bottom of the circle image. Next I adhered a colored doily as well and finally using stampin’ dimensionals I adhered them to the card front.
- Finally I added a few sequins just to add a little more interest.
Here is another shot of my card.
Now it’s time for you to check out what my super talented friends have waiting for you. I always look forward to it every week, that is for sure! So hop on over to see what Sandi has in store for you!
