Hi there, hope you had a fabulous weekend! Today I have another birthday card for you and this time it is with a retiring die that I barely got into my stash and so very sad it’s going to be gone. So I thought I better make a card with it quickly, just in case you might like this die as much as I do. I wish I had more time with it. But new things are coming, so can’t cry about it now..LOL. Anyway this die’s name is Rose Garden Thinlits and here is what I created with it.
And here are the step to create this card.
- The card base is Sweet Sugarplum card stock 4-1/4 x 8-1/2 score and fold at 5-1/2. Next I cut a 4-1/4 x 4-1/2 size panel using Pool Party card stock and cut a 1/2″ strip of black and white designer paper and adhered it to the top and bottom part of my panel and adhered all that to my card front.
- Next I adhered a white doily to my panel and I die cut that gorgeous rose image and painted it with ink using the aqua markers and once that dried I adhered it on top of the doily.
- Next I die cut the label that came from the die set and white embossed my sentiment on it from the Birthday Blooms set (which is also retiring) and using stampin’ dimensionals I adhered it to my cardd.
I hope you like this happy card and here is the list of items I used to create it with.
My project today once again used a couple of retiring items. If you have seen my previous post, you might have seen the list, but just in case you love the Rose Garden Thinlits, the Birthday Blooms stamp set and Sweet Sugarplum or Pool Party card stock, now is the time to order. I have been told card stock, ink pads and refills sell out first! When you place your order that is less than $200, don’t forget to use the April Hostess code!
Well, that is it for today, let me know if you have any questions! Thanks for visiting!
